Safe Houses

(Refuges)

Safe accommodation for women and their children who are fleeing from Domestic Abuse

We have two Safe Houses (Refuges) in North-West Surrey for women and children fleeing from Domestic Abuse. We can accommodate up to thirteen families at any one time. Our staff will provide both emotional and practical support on a one to one and group basis during the time that the families stay with us.

For the survivors of Domestic Abuse who live within an exclusion area of 20 miles of our refuges, for their safety, we can help to find suitable alternative safe houses run by similar organisations as Your Sanctuary.

For more information about accessing a Safe House please phone our helpline on 01483 776822

Children's

Services

Support for children who have been affected by Domestic Abuse

Children that have experienced Domestic Abuse are often left frightened, confused and vulnerable. Your Sanctuary gives them a safe space in which to recover from their trauma. The Children's Service is offered to families in our safe houses and to those engaged within our Community Based Outreach Service.

As an outcome, children that have been through our programme, feel safer, are empowered and perhaps most important of all, understand that the abuse that took place was not their fault.

For more information about our Children’s Service please phone our helpline on 01483 776822
