Razzle Dazzle

Surrey Music

Press Release

April 2017

Two of Surrey’s largest and longest-standing community choirs aim to raise the roof of Addlestone Community Centre as they perform a charity concert on Saturday 10th June.

The 140-voice Elmbridge Choir and the 90-voice Elmbridge Ladies Choir will present ‘Razzle Dazzle!’ in support of yourSanctuary, a charitable organisation offering emotional and practical support to individuals who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse.

With an eclectic programme ranging from the glitz and glamour of stage and screen, to bold, breath-taking choral pieces and contemporary pop and rock favourites, Surrey Music hopes the razzling dazzling spectacular will encourage a packed house and a receptive audience.

‘As a local community organisation, we are immensely proud to be supporting yourSanctuary in this, their 40th anniversary year,’ says Cliff van Tonder, CEO and Founder of Surrey Music. ‘The work they do is so important and we would love to be able to help them reach their fundraising goal!’

Fiamma Pather, CEO of yourSanctuary is thrilled that Surrey Music will be supporting the charity. ‘Community support such as this is vital not only for the funds that it raises, but also to increase awareness of domestic abuse, and the devastating effect it has on survivors and their children. The money raised will help us to continue providing support to those living in our community who are experiencing abuse and violence.’

Tickets for the concert which starts at 7.30pm cost £10 (adults) and £5 (under 18) and are available from www.ticketbasket.co.uk
